History of the flag of Morocco

Actual Morocco flag was adopted in 1956, although the original version was the flag since 1666. Morocco flag is a red field with a green woven star and a black border. Has a ratio of 2:03 for the size of the star compared to the size of the flag. There are a couple of different versions of the current flag. There is one where the civil flag is in the upper left corner and one in which civilians are logos on all four corners. The sign flag is always in yellow and looks like a crown with a star on top.

According to history, the Morocco flag represents the actual decline in the population of Prophet Muhammad. The descendants related to the wife of Ali, who was named Fatima. The red color was chosen for the flag because it was important for the Sharif of Mecca and Yemen magnets. The flag of the 17th century was all red, without addition of a star. It was used to represent the ancestors of Morocco.

In 1915, Morocco has changed the rule, and Mulay Yusuf ruled the land. It was Yusuf who decided the Seal of Solomon had to be on the flag. The stamp was green and reflective. It was interlaced pentangle or star. The pentangle is considered a form of occult law. The Seal of Solomon was originally a star with six points (before the 1900s) and was also known as the Star of David. During World War II, the flag underwent another change of six-pointed star a pentagram, hence the pentangle. The six points were meant to symbolize life, wisdom, good health and other common religious symbols. When the flag was changed to five points was considered a better symbol, reflecting the five pillars of Islam.

The red flag with the star was used in countries of the interior during the French and Spanish rule. In the Sea Peoples, the country's flag was banned. The seal was still considered an occult symbol, and therefore the Spanish and the French do not think you should use. In 1956, the flag was adopted by the entire country when Morocco gained independence. The entire country of Morocco was under the rule Africa again, with little influence from Spain or France.

Morocco did not always use plain red flag or banner with star used today. Before 1666, the meriníes and Saadi dynasties ruled the country, and the flag was completely white. For a short period of time, the flag had the gold star of David on it too. The oldest known flag of Morocco was a red flag with a square checkered black and white and in the middle, which was used from the 11th to 13th centuries.
